Napa Valley Mustard Festival — Jan - Mar 2011 (annual) Napa Valley The Napa Valley Mustard Festival marks the period in which the area's wild mustard is in bloom. Don't miss the World Wide Mustard Competition which attracts entries in 19 different categories and includes a grand dinner and special gala events.

Kitchens in the Vineyards — Apr 2011 (annual) Napa Valley Kitchens in the Vineyards is actually two events in the beautiful wineries of California's Napa Valley. Kicking off with a Friday evening Preview Party before the self-guided winery tours the following day.

Music in the Vineyards — Aug 2011; not Mon or Tue (annual) Napa Valley Every summer Napa Valley's wineries open their doors for Music in the Vineyards. Especially organised wine tastings are held alongside three weeks of fantastic chamber music concerts, with intimate performances of both new and classic repertoire.

Napa Valley Wine Region — Daily Napa Valley Hailed as one of the world's premier wine regions, the Napa Valley's combination of Mediterranean climate, geography and geology have all helped to secure its reputation. Wine production here stretches back to the 19th century.

Tables in the Vineyards is a gastronomic fiesta. Leading chefs pull out all the stops to create unique dining experiences and each meal or tasting is, of course, accompanied by delicious wine from the surrounding region.

Holiday Candlelight Tour — Dec 2010 (annual)
Napa Valley

The Holiday Candlelight Tour takes visitors around Napa, San Francisco, to explore historic homes that are lit up for Christmas. Knowledgeable guides help provide a memorable experience, while carollers and food vendors along the route supply warm treats.

Merryvale — Daily
Merryvale

Merryvale was the first winery to be built in the Napa Valley after the repeal of Prohibition. It is now open to visitors, who can enjoy a taste of the award-winning classic, reserve and prestige wines, explore the vines or host their own event for up to 120 people in the spectacular Cask Room. It also hosts weekend events that aim to expand visitors' knowledge and enjoyment of wine. Please check the website for further information.

ZD Wines

The ZD Winery in California's famous Napa Valley area is a fully functioning winery that invites visitors for tours and tastings in beautiful surroundings. As well as the tastings, ZD also runs seminars on cheese and wine pairing (by appointment only).

Flora Springs Winery — Daily

Established in 1978, Flora Springs is located among the beautiful hills of the Napa Valley. It is possible to see the whole wine-making process here as the Komes family run regular tours and tastings that explain everything from the slant of the ground upon which the vines are planted to the particulars of the fermenting process.
